Add tracking code to the website

After you have added your website to Trustlytics web analytics and set the timezone and currency, you can log in to Trustlytics web analytics for the first time.

If you are already logged into the Trustlytics dashboard, press the blue button, “Log in to Trustlytics web analytics”. If you are not yet in the Trustlytics dashboard, please log in.

When you open Trustlytics web analytics, it appears in a new browser window. Since the tracking code has not yet been inserted on your website, you will first be prompted to insert the code.

Click on the “Show tracking code for JavaScript” button and follow the instructions.

Important: As long as the tracking code is not yet or not correctly integrated into your website, this prompt will continue to be visible.

The exact procedure will be explained to you in the separate guide “Tracking Code”. There you will find detailed instructions for various website software. Go to this guide now and look for the corresponding guide for your specific website software to insert the tracking code. Once this is done, return to the “First steps” overview and continue with the “Checking the functionality”.
